Job Duties: Act as senior member of technical team to perform data analysis and troubleshoot issues/bugs, and test, maintain, and monitor computer applications and systems, including coordinating the review, design, and programming of applications/projects. Analyze user requirement, procedures, problems to automate or improve existing systems; review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Perform analysis, write program specifications and develop designs for medium to large size projects. Collect and analyze business requirement documents and prepare functional specification and design documents to meet business requirements. Prepare quality metrics across all the projects and submitting to the upper management; resolve complex queries and software routines as needed for both application development as well as data analysis and troubleshooting. Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures. Develop, coordinate and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing. Prepare test result summary reports and conduct walkthrough to business users for software updates. Implement overall project communications including delivering presentations. Use various computer technologies that includes Informatica Power center, Informatica Power exchange, DB2 or Oracle or Teradata database knowledge, Linux Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, any scheduling tool like Control-M or Automic.
Position requires up to 30% domestic travel.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the software industry.
